This scooter is my son's number one "desert island" toy. hopefully the desert island would be paved or at least have some hard dirt. The fact that it's light makes it easy to carry on the back of your stroller (if you find you are still using the stroller once you've introduced the scooter). More importantly, the fact that it's light makes it far less dangerous than scooters like the Razor. Yes, your child can be hurt by falling, but he or she won't be hurt by the scooter itself.
